Policy

A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking.
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 60 days prior to the check-in date.
All payments are non-refundable. However, bookings may be rescheduled subject to availability and a rescheduling fee.
For guests participating in surf activities, a mandatory Mentawai Surf Tax of USD 130 per person applies.

The Space

Hollow Tree’s Resort (HT’s) is a boutique beachfront property designed for social connection, movement and direct access to the surf. The atmosphere is relaxed, intimate, and community-driven rather than highly structured or wellness-focused. The resort features a collection of traditional-style bungalows, a central communal area, a large movement room, restaurant, and beachfront lounging spaces.

Location Highlights

Located in the Mentawai Islands off the coast of Sumatra, the resort sits directly in front of the world-famous “HT’s” wave (Hollow Trees). The region is globally recognized for consistent, high-quality surf, crystal-clear waters, and remote tropical island conditions. Access typically requires travel via Padang and boat transfer, reinforcing its off-the-grid, exclusive feel.
